Marshside - 26 April 2012

A trip to Marshside to check on the nesting Avocets found 15 nests with birds on and all presumably on eggs. Fingers crossed for some dry weather!

Nel's hide produced some fine sightings; a Little Grebe diving in front of hide, a few Redshank scattered about and a Common Sandpiper dropped in for a while. And feeding at the waters edge on the far side were a couple of Ringed Plover.
