An interesting morning at the flash today with 12 Snipe plus a Greenshank on the spit, plus 120 Lapwing, a pair of Great Crested Grebe
with 3 young, 11 Cormorant, 1 Heron, 1 Arctic Tern and 1 Little Gull. The latter 2 often seen together.
I also noted a ringed Mute Swan (Blue CH6) which I reported and later found that it was originally ringed at Low Hall Park, Hindley (just a few miles away) as a female cygnet on the 15th October 2011.
